Issaquah School District Investigation of Middle School Teacher Leads to Dismissal
On April 28, 2021 Issaquah Daily reported that a teacher at Issaquah Middle School was under investigation for inappropriate teaching. Following that investigation, Issaquah School District has discontinued Alexandria Johnson’s employment.
During the Issaquah School Board Meeting on May 13, 2021 the school board members approved the consent agenda, which included several staff changes including resignations, retirements and non-renewals. Ms. Johnson is identified on the school board list as non-renewed.
There were a total of two non-renews, 14 resignations and seven retirements.
