As racial tension across America has increased in 2020, Issaquah Daily has been publishing articles related to race relations in Issaquah. Earlier this week, a solicitation was published for residents of the community to share their thoughts on the topic. A concerned parent reached out wanting to share her story, and why she recently pulled her children out of the Issaquah School District. The audio interview is available immediately below, as well as the video that led to her decision, and the powerpoint presentation the school district is disseminating in classrooms.
