Infinity Farm in Issaquah Hosting Open House This Saturday
On Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 the owners of Infinity Farm in Issaquah are hosting a “For The Love of Local” market that will include food and beverages from 50 vendors. The event is open to the public. The vendors are required to be local and have to be a maker by trade. There will be sixteen food vendors selling products ranging from sauces to jerky and there will be five food trucks.
Ciera and Dustin Glenn are the owners of the farm and purchased the three acre property in August 2020. Previously living in Renton, they knew nothing about farm life but decided to purchase the property and have a three phase plan to develop the farm including purchasing more land adjacent to their existing property.
The previous owner had owned the property since 1904 and the family wanted to sell the property to someone who would maintain the land for farming, which is how they won the bidding war against others who wanted to build multiple homes on the land.
In 2021 during Covid the farm was being utilized by local photographers because parks in the area were closed, preventing families from taking outdoor portraits. The Glenn’s built installations for photos and had 32 photographers and 629 families utilize the venue for everything from photos with animals to Christmas photos with Santa Claus.
